FLORAL ART

"The world is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper" - w.b. yeats

Creating sugar flowers is labour intensive, time consuming and a delicate process. Which is why I find the quote above by W.B. Yeats so appropriate, because making sugar flowers truly requires patience but in the end, you can end up with something that is magical.

Each petal is painstakingly crafted by hand - rolled, cut, shaped, frilled, pulled, stretched, veined, dried, colour dusted, tinted, steamed, glazed and finally assembled and taped into into a flower, plant or floral bouquet.

I teach a limited number of workshops in Singapore throughout the year. If you'd like to learn, please go to the Learning / Workshops page for details of upcoming workshops.

If you would like to inquire about purchasing a sugar flower bouquet for a loved one or a special occasion, you are welcome to reach out to me by email at info@hautecakes.co for more information.
