Creating sugar flowers is labour intensive, time consuming and a delicate process. Which is why we find this quote by W.B. Yeats so appropriate, because making sugar flowers requires patience but in the end, you can end up with something that is truly magical.

 

Each petal is painstakingly crafted by hand - rolled, cut, shaped, frilled, pulled, stretched, veined, dried, colour dusted, tinted, steamed, glazed and finally assembled and taped into into a flower, plant or floral bouquet.
