Our
Story
Bee's journey with baking began in childhood in Malaysia, where she was immersed in a vibrant multicultural environment filled with family celebrations, rich flavours and aromatic traditions. Even during university in London, her passion for the culinary arts was evident as she devoted increasing energy to studying techniques, developing recipes, experimenting in the kitchen. She has also completing specialised training in plant-based patisserie with Le Cordon Blue, London.
Bee spent her initial career in finance, but when personal circumstances prompted her to reassess her path, she returned to what had always brought her joy and purpose: baking. This pivotal moment led her to transform a lifelong passion into a professional venture, and Haute Cakes was born.
